More about me: I grew up on the island of Kaua`i and enjoy surfing, being with friends, knowing Jesus, and being a friend to others.
My Dad was a pastor and parted ways to be at home with Jesus in Heaven in 2022. One of his favorite hobbies was kayaking and little did he or I know, God would open the doors for me to start this kayak business in 2023. He certainly lived the EPIC life and I am reminded of Romans 6:23,
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Where is your kayak rental company located on Kauai?
Our kayak rental company is located in Kapaa. To find us, simply type in “Kayaking in Kauai” on Google Maps and we should pop up. We are next to Tony’s Catch and the food trucks on the north end of Kapaa. Sometimes the map doesn’t display our location correctly. If you have any questions please call us (808) 278-7326.
How many kayaks can fit on my car?
We can fit up to 3 kayaks on most cars and we can fit 4 kayaks on minivans and SUVs. We can also fit up to 2 kayaks on any convertible. It is also all car-friendly and we provide all the equipment so it wont damage your car.
What types of kayaks do you offer for rent?
We rent single and double kayaks. They are sit on top kayaks which make them very easy and safe to use.
How much does it cost to rent a kayak?
The single kayaks are $75 and the double kayaks are $95. We include all the necessary equipment: Paddles, seats, life-jackets, a dry bag, car-topping equipment, and a map. For multi-day rentals, please give us a call.
Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
It is highly recommended to make a reservation in advance to ensure the availability of the kayaks. Don’t wait for the day-of to call and book, often times we are booked out and it is best to secure your rental.
What is included in the kayak rental?
The kayak rental includes paddles, life jackets, seats, a complimentary dry bag, roof racks/straps, and a map.
Can I rent a kayak for a half-day or full-day?
Our kayak rentals are day rentals only. However, we can schedule the pick-up time around you and whenever you decide to be finished. The slots are 6-hour slots however most guests finish within 4-5 hours - if you need the kayak longer then please speak with Michael to arrange the rental duration.
Are there any age restrictions for renting a kayak?
Yes, for safety reasons, renters must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a legal guardian. Please inquire for more information. We do not recommend taking infants.
Do you provide instructions or training on kayaking?
Yes, we provide basic instructions and safety guidelines for beginners. We will guide you on proper kayaking techniques, safety precautions, and information about the local area.
Can I take the kayak to other locations on Kauai?
Our kayaks are typically rented for use in specific areas designated by our rental agreement. Taking the kayaks to other locations are an option but we ask you let us know where you are wanting to take them for safety reasons.
What happens if the kayak gets damaged during my rental?
We understand that accidents happen. Minor wear and tear are expected, but significant damage or loss may result in repair or replacement charges. We recommend contacting us immediately in such cases.
Is there a cancellation policy for kayak rentals?
Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Is there a late fee for the kayak return?
Yes, unfortunately we have had guests that failed to communicate their return time as it was much later than the scheduled time and this causes difficulties for us as we are a small operation and have to close up shop at a certain point. There is a $25 fee for any late returns past the 6 hour time slot. Your time slot begins at your reservation time. Please let us know if you have any questions.
